General Questions
How much do sessions cost?
My session fee and pricing information are on my Investment page. I keep pricing transparent so you can make an informed decision before we even speak. If you have specific questions about what is included or want to talk through options, reach out and we can go over everything on a call.
When should I book?
Earlier than you think. For maternity sessions, I recommend booking between 20 and 24 weeks so we can schedule your session at the ideal time, between 28 and 34 weeks. For newborn sessions, book before your baby arrives, end of second or beginning of third trimester. I hold a flexible spot around your due date and confirm the exact date once your baby is here. I book out weeks in advance, so do not wait until after your baby is born to reach out. But sometimes I do have some last minute availability.
Where is your studio?
My studio is in Sandy Springs. I serve families throughout Atlanta, Brookhaven, Buckhead, Dunwoody, Alpharetta, and the surrounding areas.
Maternity Session Questions
What should I wear to my maternity session?
I provide wardrobe for maternity sessions. When you book, we talk through your style preferences and I have options ready for you on the day of your session. Most of my clients wear a combination of clothes from the studio and their own outfits. You arrive with your hair and makeup done and I take care of the rest. If you have something specific you want to wear, we can absolutely work that in.
Can my partner or other children be included?
Yes. Partners and children are welcome in maternity sessions and are included in the session fee. We plan the combinations in advance so the session flows well and everyone knows what to expect when they arrive.
How long is a maternity session?
Plan for one to two hours. The exact length depends on how many setups we do and whether your partner or children are joining.
How far along should I be for maternity photos?
The ideal window is 28 to 34 weeks. At this point your belly is full and round but you are still comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the session. If you are outside this window, reach out and we can talk through what is possible. You should book your photo session in your second trimester.

Newborn Session Questions
What does a studio newborn session include?
My newborn sessions are full service. That means all props, wraps, blankets, and setups are provided. Before your session we talk through your color palette and vision so everything is planned and ready when you arrive. You bring milk and diapers. I handle everything else. The session includes professional editing and a curated final gallery delivered through an online proofing system where you can review and order your images and products.
How long is a newborn session?
Plan for two to four hours. Newborns set the pace. We work around feeding, soothing, and settling, and I never rush the process. Some babies sail through in two hours. Others need more time. Either way, we take as long as the baby needs.
Is my baby’s session date set in stone? Should I book now even though I don’t know exactly when baby will arrive?
Yes, book now. This is one of the most common hesitations I hear and the answer is always the same. You do not need to know your exact birth date to hold your spot. When you book, we schedule a flexible window around your due date. Once your baby arrives, you contact me and we confirm the exact session date based on how the first few days go. Waiting until after your baby is born to reach out is the biggest mistake expecting moms make, because by then my availability in that critical first two week window may already be gone.
Can family members be included in the newborn session?
Yes. Parents and siblings are welcome. If siblings are included, we will do those first and then the family set ups. We will finish with poses of baby alone. We plan this in advance so the session is organized and everyone knows what to expect.
When will I receive my newborn photos?
Approximately three to seven days after your session I will send you a link to your proofs. You can review them on your own or we can go through them together online or in person. Once you place your order, finished products are delivered within one to three weeks.
How do you keep newborns safe during posing?
Safety is the foundation of everything I do in the studio. My background includes 28 years as a pediatric pharmacist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, which means I understand newborn behavior and physiology at a level that goes beyond photography training. I work slowly, I read each baby’s cues, and I never force a pose. Any composite poses, where the baby appears to be supporting their own weight, are done with a parent’s hands supporting the baby throughout and the images are combined in editing. Your baby’s comfort comes before any photo.
