Meet my first baby of 2021, baby girl Shai, born on Christmas Eve. As a newborn photographer, I am thrilled to meet these little ones for their photos. I met Shai and her family for her newborn pictures at day 10 of life at our home studio located in Atlanta, GA.
What a wonderful and perfect Christmas present for this beautiful family! Mom wanted to celebrate that she was born on Christmas and was the perfect gift by incorporating some Christmas images as well.
When we have siblings in the photos, I like to start with pictures of baby and big brother or sister first, then family and then finish photographing the baby alone for her newborn pictures. Many times, I ask that one of the parents take the sibling home while we finish the newborn shoot.
Big brother Khai was so smitten by his baby sister and enjoyed being photographed.
Mom wanted to wear her maternity gown and have a few pictures with the baby, which I absolutely love!
Baby Shai wanted to be awake for most of her photo session, and sometimes that happens! We were able to get her to take some quick naps where I could pose her, but also got some great eye contact.
And we got some Christmas images as well to celebrate the day she was born!
