Welcoming a baby is always special, but for Michelle and Sean, this journey has been nothing short of a miracle. After years of hoping and trying, they are finally expecting their first child—and the joy they feel is unmistakable. Their session was a beautiful reminder of why I love offering maternity photography in Sandy Springs: every family has a story worth preserving.
Michelle and Sean are both physicians, used to caring for others around the clock. This session gave them a moment to slow down, breathe, and celebrate this long-awaited chapter together. It’s always meaningful to photograph first-time parents, but knowing how much they’ve been through made this session even more special.
We met in my Sandy Springs home studio, where we created a calm and intimate space for them to relax and connect. Michelle chose a combination of her own personal wardrobe pieces along with a few gowns from my studio collection. This mix added a personal touch to the session while still allowing her to feel pampered and styled. They both looked fantastic as we posed and danced for the photos.
I always recommend to choose a variety of outfits ranging from formal (gowns and fabrics), to cocktail dresses and a more relaxed look (jeans, body suit, etc)
The love between them was effortless to capture—Sean’s quiet pride, Michelle’s glowing joy, and the tenderness they share as they prepare to meet their baby.
I’m thrilled to share that Michelle and Sean have also booked their newborn session with me. I can’t wait to see them again, this time with their baby in their arms.
