When Jessica reached out about a family maternity photoshoot, she told me right away—she wanted the session to feel relaxed and true to them. Her girls, Elena and Addie (5 and 3), were the heart of it all.
Jessica is expecting baby girl #3. While she wanted a few maternity portraits to mark this pregnancy, she was most excited about capturing this season as a family. Her focus was on connection and documenting her girls just as they are—silly, sweet, and full of personality.

We kept the session playful from the start. Elena was a natural in front of the camera, and Addie had us all laughing with her dance moves and trying to imitate big sister. They snuggled with mom, tickled dad, and explored every corner of the studio. It was the perfect family maternity photoshoot—genuine, fun, and full of movement and joy.

We also carved out a little time for just Jessica. She chose a soft, neutral dress from the studio wardrobe, as well as fabrics—something simple that made her feel like herself. There’s such a quiet strength in her images. You can feel how deeply she loves her family and how ready she is to welcome this new little girl.

These are the sessions I love most—where we let go of “perfect” and focus on what really matters: the connection, the laughter, the in-between moments. A family maternity photoshoot doesn’t have to be stiff or posed. It can be full of heart.

Jessica and Joey, thank you for trusting me with these memories and help you document your story. I can’t wait to see you all again soon and meet your newest little girl for her newborn photos!
