We met baby Sonomi for her newborn photography session in Atlanta. She is such a sweet baby girl and could not wait to join this world. Mom contacted me at the beginning of the year and hired me for newborn photos. Domonique was so excited when I contacted her to let her know the studio was opened again, and we will be photographing the baby on time. Mom had already missed out on baby showers and maternity pictures because of the pandemia. Therefore, she was thrilled that baby would have newborn photos. Baby made her grand entrance at home, in a bathtub, assisted by mom’s best friend and the 911 operator. When the ambulance finally arrived, they only took the baby to the hospital. Mom had to scramble to get there on her own. A story that I am sure will be shared for years to come!
I met Sonomi when she was 7 days old, in my studio located in Sandy Springs, Ga. Mom requested flowers, and the colors burgundy, pink, and mauve. All this colors went so well with her skin color. Sonomi is an alluring mixture of many races, Asian, African, European – she is such a beautiful baby girl!
One of my favorite props to use right now is the tiny bed! Love how comfortable babies look and they really seem so relax in it! Don’t you love it!
I like to ask parents if they want to use any digital background for the photos. If so, they choose ahead of time, or I pick one based on their preferences or style. For Sonomi, we used two digital backgrounds to finish her session.
